Innokin Ares RTA By Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis Overview

The Innokin Ares RTA by Phil Busardo and Dimitris Agrafiotis (the Vaping Greek) is a highly anticipated collaboration between two long-time vapers and the world-renowned Innokin company. This all-inclusive atomizer was developed with the intention of making it easier and more affordable for smokers to safely transition into the world of vaping. With its enjoyably restrictive Mouth-to-Lung vaping style, the Ares delivers a smooth flow of vapor that both beginners and experienced builders can appreciate. The Ares RTA is made of superior Stainless Steel and has a universal 24mm diameter that makes for a great match with your favorite box mod through its Gold-plated 510 threaded pin connection. A ‘push-to-fill’ printing on the tank, followed by an arrow on the top cap, indicate the secure and easy-to-use top filling method. Capable of holding up to 4mL of e-juice, the heat-resistant Pyrex glass reservoir contains a rounded bell chamber that reduces air turbulence as vapor travels up from the build deck and through its narrow chimney. This narrow chimney, together with the 5mm Delrin drip tip, create the MTL draw Phil and Dimitris were going for. The Ares RTA has a two post single-terminal build deck that is raised up from the base of the tank to create a convenient platform for single coil builds. In between the posts are nine small airflow holes that help assist the overall airflow. These airflow holes are raised up even further from the platform to prevent e-liquid from disrupting the airflow and escaping from the tank. Loosening the side-mounted screws reveals a drop-in coil design that allows you to literally drop your coil right into the lead terminals. All four corners of the build deck are equipped with wide wicking areas that support large cotton wicks to ensure a steady flow of e-juice from the juice reservoir to the coil. Innokin has included a heat-resistant PEEK insulator on the positive post of the deck to help dissipate heat during those hotter vapes. Along the outside of the base are four adjustable bottom airslots measuring 2mm, 1.5mm, 1mm, and 0.5mm respectively. On the opposite side of the ring, Innokin includes a larger opening that allows for various airflow options—including the option of having all of the airflow holes open at once.
